Cory Crowley is the newly elected President of CLSA. Currently, he works for Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA).

Marissa McCord - Vice President

Marissa McCord currently serves as Vice President of CLSA and Chair of the Special Events Committee of CLSA. Marissa is a Legislative Assistant/Legislative Correspondent for Representative Randy Neugebauer (TX-19), advising him on social policy and education issues. In addition, she staffs the Values Action Team and the Congressional Prayer Caucus for the Congressman.

Previously, Marissa was with a firm that specialized in federal relations, including: healthcare, municipalities and appropriations. She is embracing the Washington political scene but also loves to get out and volunteer her extra time to state campaigns. Originally from Tahoka, TX, Marissa attended Texas State University and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration and a Minor in History.

Dustin Krasny - 2nd Vice President

Dustin Krasny is a Legislative Assistant for Representative Ander Crenshaw who serves on the House Committee on Appropriations. Dustin's issue portfolio includes Labor, Education, Telecommunications, Immigration, Tax Policy, Budget, Health Care, Justice, Science, Financial Services and Banking. Prior to serving in Representative Crenshaw's office, Dustin worked for former Chairman of the House Budget Committee and current Director of the Office of Management and Budget, Representative Jim Nussle. Dustin began his political career in Representative Tom Feeney's office where he was the Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff. Dustin hails from the State of Michigan.

Kristal Quarker - Treasurer

Kristal Quarker is a legislative assistant for Congressman Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI). She handles all issues of healthcare, education, trade, small business, and social security. She is originally from Atmore, AL. Quarker received a BA in political science/international relations from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham AL in 2004 and a Masters of Public Administration/Public Management degree from Troy University, Troy AL in 2006.

As the newly elected treasurer of CLSA, Quarker was recently included in Roll Call newspaper in a "Hill Climbers" segment entiteld "The Fabulous Five," referring to herself and four other newly elected 2008 officers of CLSA.

In addition to serving as treasurer for CLSA, she also serves as the subcommittee chair for Africa. Quarker recently traveled to Ghana on a personal trip and it was an absolute life changing experience. She welcomes the opportunity for others to gain exposure to African cultural by establishing relationships with African embassies.

Prior to working for Rep. McCotter, Quarker was the Minority Outreach Director for the Bob Corker for Senate Campaign in Nashville, TN in 2006.  She mobilized and fostered leadership among coalition members, volunteers, business and government contacts in order to gain support and advance the campaign agenda.

Moreover, Quarker is also the 2008 Chairwoman of the Black Republican Congressional Staff Association. She has aspirations of earning a law degree and eventually moving back to Alabama to run for the Senate.

   
Lydia Morgan - Secretary
Lydia Morgan serves as Secretary of CLSA. She is currently a Senior Legislative Assistant with Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) handling all Homeland Security issues.
   
Megan Shannon-Winterson - Region 1

Megan Shannon-Winterson has worked for Congressman Tom Allen of Maine since 2004.  She currently serves as a Legislative Assistant.  In addition to handling the Congressman's work on the House Budget Committee, her issue portfolio includes Taxes, Homeland Security, Immigration, Judiciary, and Veterans.  Prior to working for Rep. Allen, she was an intern for Rep. Michael Michaud, who represents Maine's Second District.

Megan is originally from Kennebunkport, Maine and attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine.  In 2003, she graduated with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Math.  While attending Colby, she spent a semester studying abroad in Cape Town, South Africa.

Will Jenkins - Region 2

Will Jenkins is a Press Secretary for Rep. Tim Bishop (D-NY).  This his first year serving on the CLSA Board.

Todd Neal is a Legislative Correspondent for Rep. Howard Coble.

Trey Reffett represents Region 8 of CLSA, and currently works for Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV).
   
Audra McGeorge - Region 9
Audra McGeorge is the Press Secretary for Representative Ed Royce (R-CA).  Since joining the Royce office in December 2005 Audra has served as Staff Assistant, Legislative Correspondent and Legislative Assistant.

A native of Southern California, Audra is from Royce's district, born and raised in Orange, California.  In 2005 she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in political science.

Matt Hite - Member At-Large

Matthew Hite is a Member At-Large.

Hite currently serves as Counsel to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. Previously, he had served as Senior Legislative Assistant to Rep. Bill Sali, handling his seat on the House Natural Resources Committee. Previously Hite had served as Legislative Assistant for Rep. Don Young of Alaska handling House Resources during 2006 and as Legislative Correspondent for Senator Mike DeWine (R-OH) prior to that.

   
Brian Clifford - President Emeritus

Brian Clifford has worked in Congress for nine years in both the House and Senate as a Congressional Staffer. Clifford served as President of the Congressional Legislative Staff Assocation from 2006 to February 2009.

Clifford currently serves as Minority Staff Director for the Subcommittee on Oversight in the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. He also handles all Environment and Public Works issues for Sen. Barrasso of Wyoming, including global warming, nuclear security, and infrastructure security. He also handles all National Security issues for the Senator in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Prior to that, Clifford served as Minority Staff Director for the Superfund and Environmental Health Subcommittee. He also served as Legislative Director for Rep. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) handling Defense/Intelligence/Homeland Security issues, as well as the Foreign Affairs Committee as it related to Foreign Military Assistance/Sales, Arms Export-Controls, Non-Proliferation, and the War on Terror. Clifford also handled Rep. Flake's seat on the House Natural Resources Committee.

Previously, Clifford worked for Rep. Elton Gallegly (R-CA) as a Legislative Assistant handling the House Resources Committee, Energy, Veterans, Taxes, and related Appropriations issues. Clifford has worked in Congress since April 1999. Clifford has also been the lead staffer for the Patriot Act Reform Caucus (Rep. Flake Co-Chair) and the lead staffer for the House Caucus on Insular and International Affairs (Rep. Gallegly Chair).
